Definable Absence Types
Each user can see how many vacation days have been used and how many are still open. If employees do not claim all vacation days of the current year, the remaining days can be taken to the next year. Only authorized users can enter these leave carryovers in the system. As soon as you have the authorization for processing, you can easily change or correct your leave entitlement. It often happens that an employee receives an additional day off as a bonus. In this case, you can enter the entitlement directly in the system.
The most common types of absence are holidays, sick leave and time compensation. You can also save other absence types in the system. Make sure that you specify whether it is a regular leave day or whether you are compensating overtime. In the case of a regular leave day, the absence is deducted from the regular annual leave entitlement. If your absence counts as a reduction of hours, you are claiming time compensation. Once the absence type is saved, all employees can choose from them when they submit a leave request or announce other absences.
Each employee has certain user rights. The admin for instance, can decide which users can create and edit paid leave carryovers. All user rights are set directly in the user profile.
A few clicks. And the vacation is approved. Easy right? We know how tedious holiday planning in a team can be: Too many e-mails and nobody knows who is on holiday. Thanks to TimeTrack all vacation requests are stored in one place. As soon as a holiday request is approved, the absence is noted and the team can access the data.
