working hours, it is also important to <strong>manage absences<\/strong> for an effective timesheet. If you go to <strong>Settings &gt; Timesheet &gt; Absence<\/strong>s in TimeTrack, you can view the absence types. To do so, click on \u2018<strong>New Leave Type<\/strong>\u2019. First choose a <strong>color<\/strong> so that you can find your way around better later in the paid leave report. Then enter the <strong>name<\/strong> of the absence and the <strong>short code<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can decide whether the leave day should be counted as <strong>regular paid leave<\/strong> or if the <strong>hours<\/strong> should be <strong>deducted<\/strong>. For a regular leave day, the absence is deducted from the <strong>leave entitlement<\/strong>. In the case of <strong>compensatory time<\/strong>, on the other hand, the absence takes place as <strong>time off<\/strong>. You can also filter by user name and absences to see a specific employee&#8217;s absences. Each absence request can be <strong>downloaded<\/strong> as a <strong>PDF<\/strong>.
