Is your time allocation on point?
To determine whether your time allocation is on point, consider the following:
Do you frequently miss deadlines?
This is a sure sign that you need to step up your time management. It’s not always possible to meet every deadline, especially if you have a typically heavy workload. However, if missing deadlines is commonplace, you should examine your time management strategies.
Are you doing your best to complete the tasks?
You may need to allot additional time and resources for each project if you’re always rushing through them or compromising on quality.
Are you prone to distraction?
It may be a sign that you must reduce the number of interruptions and distractions if you discover that you are easily sidetracked or interrupted when working.
Are your objectives being met?
If you’re not making headway towards your goals, you definitely need better time management. Step back and assess if you are devoting enough time and energy to the things essential to your progress in attaining your objectives.
Do you have a stressful or overwhelming feeling?
If you often feel stressed or overburdened, take these as signs that you need better time allocation. Review your tasks, breaks, meetings and deadlines and work on re-prioritising where possible.
