With the iOS and Android Mobile App or even the Terminal App, you can start the time clock from anywhere.
It doesn’t replace the Web Application, but it is like an extended arm of the software for the employee, because it is very practical, especially in the field. The employees don’t have to carry a laptop around and can still record their working hours and keep track of their hours and absences.
Open the Time Clock in the App, tap Start, and the time clock will start running. If you are on the road with your team as a team leader, you can clock in yourself and your employees via Team. For example, employees can clock in with you and under the option Active you can see who is already working and who may not be there yet. The same applies at the end of the work day when your employees want to clock out.
The Terminal App is a good alternative to manage your team. You can download it on any Android Tablet and soon also on iPads.
Your GPS Location is automatically recorded via iOS and Android Mobile App, so you can always see where your working time started and ended.
The locations are added and saved in the Attendance (Attendance Tracking > Attendance > Attendances). Click on the map symbol with the pin to view the location.
You can automate Time Tracking in the Mobile App using the Workspace feature so that the clock automatically starts and stops when you enter or leave your workspace.
In order to do this, create a new location using “Plus”, enter a name and GPS Location (address) including the Radius you need to be in, and select the job type as “My Workplace” or “Client’s Workplace”.
As soon as you enter the defined radius of the assigned location, you are automatically clocked in and as soon as you leave it, you are automatically clocked out.
You can also deactivate the workspace by tapping on the name of the space and cancel the activation. You can delete the work location by tapping on the rubbish bin in the bottom right corner.
