In the reports and analysis, the project times of you and your employees are summarized for the respective clients and tasks, including expenses. In the left pie chart the earnings are displayed, whereas in the right pie chart the working hours are shown.
To benefit from the automatically generated reports and analysis of TimeTracks Project Controlling, you must first define the period for which you want to view them. Click on “Submit” to save your settings.
If you want to view only certain information, you can use one of the numerous filter options. To view only customers, projects, activities or expenses, click on the respective field. If you have set the “Projects” filter, the projects below it will be sorted by the most performed task.
Click on the project to find the related customers, activities or other information.
If you are looking for a specific user, project or customer, search in the “User name, First name, Last name” or “Project name, Customer name” fields. A drop down menu will appear where you can make your selection. For example, you can see only the activities that a particular employee has performed.
If you want to refine your search, you can use the search magnifier on the right. There you can additionally filter by activities, tags and notes.
TimeTrack’s reports can be personalized in many ways. To filter your reports and analyses by tags, you can click the hashtag icon (#). If you want to hide the charts displayed above, click the icon with the three columns.
If you are interested only in time entries or expenses, click the box with the clock icon or the price tag icon. Click the icon with the open lock to see all the activated projects. If you click on the closed lock icon, you will see all the deactivated projects. If you click on “Invoiced” or “Not invoiced“, you will see the respective billed or not yet billed time entries or expenses.
If you want less accurate reports, you can hide the percentages for the hours and earnings or the earnings themselves using the settings icon. When you have made all your entries, the reports and analyses can be printed, saved as PDF or CSV.
