Configure priorities for automatic assignment
Under the configuration for automatic assignment, you can set individual priorities for a variety of criteria. Below, the criteria have been grouped into four different categories; “Shifts”, “Absences”, “Considerations and “Working time models”. Below, you can find definitions for all the criteria.

Do not understaff shifts
This criterion defines how important it is to you that shifts are not filled below the number of employees you specify.
Do not overstaff shifts
Define how significant it is to you that shifts are not overstaffed.
Fill shifts evenly
Define how significant it is to you that shifts are not overcrowded.
Allocate employees evenly
This criterion indicates how much attention should be paid to the equal allocation of employees.
Requested absences
With this criterion you can specify how important it is that absences that have not yet been confirmed by an admin are taken into account.
Confirmed absences
This criterion defines how relevant it is that approved absences are taken into account.
Consider skills
This criterion deals with the importance of taking into account the skills of your employees when automatically assigning them to shifts.
Consider work areas
Set the priority that employees should be assigned to shifts whose work area they belong to.
Consider availabilities
This point defines the relevance of considering the availabilities of your employees.
Consider shift applications
This criterion allows you to indicate how important it is to you that applications from employees be considered for individual shifts.
Consider work-days of employees
Select how important it is for you that the working days of the employees are taken into account.
Do not exceed daily workload
This point defines how important it is not to exceed the daily target working time of your employees.
Do not undercut daily workload
Indicate how relevant it is for you that the daily working time of your employees is not undercut.
Do not exceed weekly workload
This item defines how important it is that the weekly target working time of an employee is not exceeded.
Do not undercut weekly workload
This criterion allows you to specify how relevant it is that the weekly target hours are not undercut.
Do not exceed monthly workload
With this criterion you indicate how important it is for you that the monthly target hours of your employees are not exceeded.
Do not undercut monthly workload
This criterion defines the priority from falling below an employee’s monthly target hours.
