What makes our duty roster so special is that you can assign skills to your employees. This allows you to define shifts according to the work areas and the required skills. Create them under Duty roster > Skills.
There is one default skill predefined by us: Employee. You can easily create all the other skills with the blue button New Skill. Enter the name of the skill, add a color and save it.
You can break down the various skills into further subordinate specializations and thus divide your employees and shifts even more precisely into your professional skills.
To do this, go to Skills, select the relevant skill and click New more specialized skill in […]. You can also click on New Skill and manually fill out the field Child Skill of[…].
It is recommended to select colors to give you an overview. You can have as many specializations as you like within a skill.
To edit skills and add employees, select the skill and click Edit.
You add employees to the skill by clicking Edit Employees and adding the ones that apply to it. Here again you have the possibility to select your employees individually or select all of them. Additionally, you can filter by skills in the upper left corner or by individual employees thanks to the search field in the upper right corner. You can also filter by employees without an assigned skill. Save your selection with the Save button at the bottom right.
Repeat this until all employees are assigned to their corresponding skills. You can also assign multiple skills to one employee.
We are happy to help you!
