To create a shift plan for the work area in a specific location, start in the menu under Planning > Work Areas. Here you can create and manage locations and the respective work areas of a location. Firstly, create a new location by clicking on the blue button provided. Then go to ‘Create new workspace in […]’ for your newly created location. Fill in the field by giving the area its appropriate name and, if necessary, defining the higher-ranking area. Add a color to create a clean overview. Repeat this process until you have mapped all the workspaces and sub work areas you need.
You can always edit the work area afterwards. To do this, simply open the respective work area and click the blue Edit button. Then, all information from the work area will be displayed automatically. The same applies to the created location.
In the next step, you assign employees to the workspaces by simply clicking on Edit employees.
Now you will see all the employees that are available to you. You can add the employees individually or select all visible employees at once. Additionally, you have the possibility to filter by entire departments or, with the help of the search field, by individual employees. You can also display or add employees without an assigned workspace. After you have selected the employees belonging to the workspace, save your selection using the Save button at the bottom right.
Employees can also be assigned to multiple workspaces and locations.
We are happy to help you!
