If you have not assigned any users to a project, it is visible to everyone. Via Data management > Projects > Project visibility you can assign users to the desired project. Click on “Show settings“. You will see two lists, one each for not assigned users and assigned users.
Click on a user from one of the two lists to select an employee for the assignment. The field will be highlighted in green. Then click the arrow next to the table to assign the user to the other table. If you want to bring all employees from one list to the other, you can use the double arrow icon. You can use the search magnifier to search for users or teams.
Assigning employees to projects has many advantages. On the one hand, you can create “hidden” projects, which can be viewed only by certain users. Moreover, you have full control over the visibility of the projects.
To set which projects a user can view, edit or use, go to Data Administration > Users and click on the desired user(s). Then, click on Show Settings for the user rights. Scroll down to the projects section and select the appropriate rights.
